Thanks to Crossroads Kitchen at Resorts World Las Vegas we have a whole new level in vegan fine dining on The Strip.
Founding chef Tal Ronnen is no stranger to vegan restaurants OR to catering to those who expect the best. In 2013, he opened Crossroads Kitchen in Los Angeles along with Travis Barker. He also worked as a private chef to Oprah Winfrey to create the meals for her 21-Day vegan cleanse and catered the wedding for Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi. He is a co-creator of Kite Hill and he’s on the board for Impossible Foods. Along the way he has also written a New York Times bestseller The Conscious Cook and Crossroads: Extraordinary Recipes from the Restaurant That Is Reinventing Vegan Cuisine. Basically, his vegan cred is solid!
Crossroads Kitchen is the first fully vegan fine dining restaurant in Las Vegas. The menu features appetizers such as Chestnut Foie Gras, Stuffed Zucchini Blossoms and Impossible Cigars with almond milk yogurt. Good luck picking just one entrée when you have dishes like Tagliatelle Bolognese, Fettucine and Truffles, and Scallopini Parmesan to choose from. And if you are looking for something a little more casual you can also find CB/Crossroads Burger at the resort where plant-based options such as sausages, burgers, ice cream and more are available in a more casual setting or even to take on the go. Doesn’t it all sound dreamy?!!
One thing you won’t find at Crossroads is reminders that you are in a vegan restaurant.
“We feel that good food is good food and doesn’t need to have a label,” says Ronnen. “So, there are no obvious cues on the menu or in the decor or anywhere in the Crossroads experience that you’re eating no animal products.”
The vibe is beauty and elegance, and the menu is meant to appeal to Vegans, Vegetarians, Flexitarians, Omnivores and everyone in between. Couple that with a thoughtfully curated high-end drink menu and you have a fabulous venue for a night out that your whole group can agree on!
